Katharine Crampton Memorial Art Show

Entry Information:
Location:  Lakeside Train Station at 7th and Central (ask at the gate for directions).
Dates:       Bring entries to the Train Station Friday, 7/11/08 (3-7 p.m.) or 
                  Saturday, 7/12/08 (10 a.m. - 12 noon).  Or until the 210 entry slots fill.
Early Entries:  Early entries are preferred and paper work may be sent now through 
                         6/30/08.

FEES:

Early Entry Fees BEFORE 6/30/08:
        · Adult: $8.00 per entry - Limit 3 entries
          (If there are 3 entries, 1 must be for sale.)
        · Youth* (Age 13-18):  $4.00 per entry – Limit 2 entries
        · Child*:  $1.00 per entry - Limit 1 entry.
*A youth or child may choose to enter the Adult division and be charged and judged accordingly.

Checks MUST be made out to CAROL (The Bank requires CAROL)

        · Adult: $12.00 per entry - Limit 3 entries
          (If there are 3 entries, 1 must be for sale.)
        · Youth* (Age 13-18):  $5.00 per entry – Limit 2 entries
        · Child*:  $1.00 per entry - Limit 1 entry.
*A youth or child may choose to enter the Adult division and be charged and judged accordingly.

Checks MUST be made out to CAROL (The Bank requires CAROL)


Entry Rules for this Non-Juried Show:
        · Two and three dimensional pictures accepted in the following media only:
          Acrylic, Drawing, Mixed, Oil, Pastel and Watercolor
        · Only original images, ones not shown here before, and pictures completed in the 
          last 2 years will be accepted. 
        · Each work may use up to 10 square feet.
        · All pictures must be ready to hang securely. We require wire and eye screws for 
          all FRAMED entries. 
        · This rule applies to youth and child entries as well. NO DUCT TAPE.
        · Entry form and artist bio must be filled out BEFORE coming to drop off artwork.
        · The title form must be completed and attached securely to the BACK of each 
          picture.
        · IF THE ENTRY IS NOT FOR SALE, PUT NFS ON ALL PAPERWORK.
        · Entries are to remain until the end of the show.

Artist holds harmless the KCMAS and the Lakeside Association for loss or damage of any artwork.


Pick-Up Rules:
        · Unsold entries must be picked up at Hoover Auditorium: 
          Sunday, 8/03/08 (5-7 p.m.) or Monday, 8/04/08 (2-4 p.m.)
        · The artists will be called before pickup time if all their art is sold.
        · No artwork will be released without the artist’s receipt.
        · Lakeside’s responsibility for the pictures ends at:
          4 p.m., August 4, 2008        
        · NO POST-SHOW STORAGE IS AVAILABLE!!!!!!!!

        · Best of Show and Popular Choice.
        · First, Second, Third, 2 Honorable Mention in each medium in the 
          Adult Division.
        · First, Second, Third, 2 Honorable Mention in the Youth Division.
        · Participation ribbons for all children.

        · The Susan Carle Best of Show
        · Popular Choice
        · Jane Crampton Wendt Purchase Award

*All awards are soley at the judge's discretion.
       
Sales: 
        · 20 % of the sale of each picture is donated to The Lakeside Association.
        · All checks for sales will be mailed to artists within 10 days after the close of the 
          show, from the Lakeside Association.

From the South:  Rt. 4 North to Rt. 2 West.  Cross the Sandusky Bay Bridge to Rt. 269 North to Rt. 163 East and follow the signs to the Lakeside South Gate entrance.
From the West:  Take the Ohio Turnpike to Exit 91.  Then take Rt. 53 North to Rt. 2 East to Rt. 269 North to Rt. 163 East.  Follow the signs to the Lakeside South Gate entrance.
