The Lakeside Summer Stage presents The Sound of Music in 2008. The new director, Brenda Bou-Sliman (Director of the Garden Guest Dinner Theater in Port Clinton), will produce The Sound of Music, one of the most beloved musicals of all time. The von Trapp Family Singers, who are the great grandchildren of Baron von Trapp and Maria, packed Hoover Auditorium last season in one of the most popular programs of the summer.
Auditions will be held on Saturday, June 28 from 6-10 p.m. in the Upper Room. Bring a head shot, comfortable clothes and shoes. Please do not bring prepared music. Call backs, if needed, will be the next day, Sunday, June 29 from 3-6 p.m. Performances will be in South Auditorium July 29 and July 31.

Mark your calendars, hone those acting skills, and practice your "do re me's". The Lakeside Summer Stage will also need folks to work on the many behind the scenes committees that are important in putting a show together.
