Salvationist instrumentalists from the Northeast Division of Ohio will assemble at Lakeside on Memorial Day to both participate in the Sunday Morning Service in Hoover Auditorium and to perform a concert at the bandstand. The NEOSA (North East Ohio Salvation Army) Brass Band will play scintillating selections and militant marches that will stir the hears of all who listen.

The Dixie Doodlers have continued to carry on the tradition of Dixieland music for over half a century. They've found the Dixieland brand of jazz, born in New Orleans in the early years of the 20th century, has timeless appeal. Lakeside Wooden Boat Show and North Coast Plein Air Paintout

Hotel Lakeside Lawn
The Lakeside Wooden Boat Society will be sponsoring the 5th annual Wooden Boat Show on and off the shores of Lake Erie. The event will host over 30 exhibitors, area vendors and nautical swap meet. Coinciding with the Wooden Boat Show will be the 2nd annual "Lakeside North Coast Plein Air Paintout." Artists will paint on the Lakeside grounds and around the peninsula throughout the weekend, and will conclude with a "Wet Paint Show and Sale" from 3:00 -5:00 p.m. Each painter will paint on the waterfront of Lakeside and Children Painting on the waterfront will be held 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
