Central Park
Our experienced staff invites you to take advantage of our Supervised Playground open Monday-Saturday 9 a.m. to 12 noon and 1-5 p.m. We ask that the children being dropped off at the playground be between the ages of 4 and 7 years.
Calling all kids ages 8 to 12 years of age to join the Morning Recreation crew Monday through Friday 11:00 to 12:00 noon near the basketball court. Each day is different as the morning rec staff will entertain and organize those who attend with team sports. Look for anything from kickball, to Capture the Flag and anticipate a Lakeside favorite, The Scavenger Hut.
Each Sunday evening the recreation staff invites you to take part in some good old-fashioned fun. Sunday Night Concert in the Park begins at 6 p.m. offering families a change to come together for entertainment, games, good food and more. Music varies from week to week. Look for games that require some competition such as tug of war or our version of the Family Feud. Whatever is on the schedule is sure to bring a smile to your face.
Raccoon Run
Here we go again ... get your sneakers ready! The starting gun will sound for the 26th Annual Raccoon Run on July 20. The 1-miler begins at 8:00 AM and the 3-mile Raccoon Run begins at 8:30 AM. Runners, joggers, and walkers are all invited to participate. Forms will be available in the Lakeside Association Office. Register with the online form and fax in at (419) 798-5033. Kelleys Island Swim
The Qualifying Swim will begin from the east side of the Lakeside Pier at 8:00 am. On Thursday, we ask that all participants arrive at the dock by 7:30 am. The swim will be between the L-dock of Lakeside’s Pier and Newman’s Ferry Dock on Kelley’s Island.
