08:45am – 01:00pm
Volunteer your time to help beautify Lakeside at the annual Spring Cleanup Day. The event will take place from 8:45 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, April 29. Volunteers of all ages are welcome to participate.
In past years, more than 75 dedicated Lakeside volunteers have worked together to help improve the overall appearance of the grounds and facilities.
At this year’s event, help Lakeside break a record for the most volunteers. We would love to see 80 volunteers this year. Volunteers are needed in the following areas: landscaping, cleanup in the parks/waterfront and preparing various buildings.
Participants will meet at 8:45 a.m. in Chautauqua Hall to sign up for one of the many projects. Projects will begin at 9 a.m. Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m.
Purchasing a Daily, Saturday or Season Chautauqua Pass includes admission into Lakeside Chautauqua and all shows in Hoover Auditorium, plus additional benefits. A separate "ticket" is not necessary to attend a Hoover show. As always, children age 12 and under and guests over age 90 are always free. Parking is an additional charge. Chautauqua Passes and Auto Passes may be purchased online at tickets.lakesideohio.com or upon entering the gates of Lakeside. Please allow two weeks for online processing. There are no reserved seats for Hoover shows; seats are on a first-come, first-served basis. Present your Chautauqua Pass upon entering Hoover Auditorium.Purchase Passes Online
