Lakeside Plant Sale & Gardening Demonstrations

The Lakeside Plant Sale will take place from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, May 27 and 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Sunday, May 28 on Walnut Avenue, between Second and Third Streets.

Annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables, colorful hanging baskets, pots and pre-planted container gardens will be for sale. Lakeside will also be selling the same fertilizer that the Grounds Department. New pricing is available, and all proceeds will help keep the Lakeside grounds beautiful throughout the summer.

In addition to the plant sale, there will be one-hour gardening demonstrations provided by Corso's Flower & Garden Center, Barnes Nursery and Lakeside Chautauqua's Master Gardener, Loretta Wilken.

    Purchasing a Daily, Saturday or Season Chautauqua Pass includes admission into Lakeside Chautauqua and all shows in Hoover Auditorium, plus additional benefits. A separate "ticket" is not necessary to attend a Hoover show. As always, children age 12 and under and guests over age 90 are always free. Parking is an additional charge. Chautauqua Passes and Auto Passes may be purchased online at or upon entering the gates of Lakeside. Please allow two weeks for online processing. There are no reserved seats for Hoover shows; seats are on a first-come, first-served basis. Present your Chautauqua Pass upon entering Hoover Auditorium.
