Master Planning Presentation & Workshop: Introduction & Ideas

May 27, 2017
09:30am – 11:30am

Hoover Auditorium (map)

Lakeside Chautauqua is conducting a formal master plan with MKSK, an urban design, landscape architecture and planning firm. All are invited to the Master Planning Presentation & Workshop: Introduction & Ideas at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, May 27 in Hoover Auditorium to provide ideas and feedback for the planning process.

The first part of the event will be a presentation by MKSK. During the second part, participants will visit interactive stations to provide feedback and generate new ideas. There will also be children and youth stations.

Through this community engagement, new ideas will emerge, concepts will be tested and critical needs will be identified. This will ensure that Lakeside Chautauqua has future programming spaces, recreational facilities, green spaces, accommodations, retail, transportation and parking solutions, as well as the best use of its existing buildings.

A second Master Planning Presentation & Workshop: Planning Principles & Preliminary Concepts will be held on Saturday, July 22. Stay tuned for ways to be engaged in the planning process this summer. For updates, visit our Master Planning page.
