Volunteering at Lakeside is a rewarding and life-changing experience. The Lakeside community members play a vital role in the quality of the Chautauqua program and experience, and we are grateful for the support each year. Lakeside Fund Ambassador

The Lakeside Chautauqua Foundation invites you to consider volunteering your time to raise financial gifts towards the Lakeside Annual Fund as a Lakeside Fund Ambassador. The Lakeside Annual Fund supports the Chautauqua program each year. Ambassadors work with Lakeside staff and make visits and phone calls, send personal emails or letters, and share what the community means to them. Rhein Center

The Rhein Center is always in need of volunteers.We've expanded our hours and would love to have you join us and assist with student check-in throughout the week. Volunteers are also needed to assist with online registration at Sunday Open Houses in the summer, take photos of classes, assist with family activities and more. Hoover Performance Greeter

Volunteers greet and count Lakesiders attending the evening Hoover performances Monday-Saturday in the summer. If you wish to volunteer from 7:30-9 p.m., return a Volunteer Application to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).


Hoover Worship Sunday Usher

Volunteer your time at the 10:30 a.m. Hoover Community Worship Services. This important ministry involves distributing bulletins, directing congregants to their seats and passing the offering plates during worship. Gardener

Spring Cleanup Day

Volunteer your time to help beautify Lakeside at Spring Cleanup Day in April. Each year, more than 75 volunteers help to improve the overall appearance of the Lakeside Chautauqua grounds and facilities. Annual Plant Sale

The Lakeside Annual Plant Sale, which takes place Memorial Day weekend, features a variety of annuals, perennials, herbs and ground covers for sale. Lakeside-Marblehead Lighthouse Festival

Volunteers are needed at this annual event takes place the second Saturday in October. Volunteers are needed for set-up, children's crafts, shuttle service, information booths and cleanup. To volunteer, return a Volunteer Application to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

A Lakeside Christmas

In December, Lakesiders return to the grounds to gather for Christmas activities. Volunteers are needed to assist with decorating, greeting, children's area, Christmas Dinner and cleanup. Volunteer at Recreation Events

Team/Individual Triathlon

Youth Triathlon

Walkers, joggers and runners of all ages will take to the streets of Lakeside in late July for the 5k Raccoon Run & One-Mile Fun Run.
