A Strong group of individuals united for a common goal.

Lakeside is fortunate to have active organizations which lend support to the Lakeside mission and add another dimension to the Lakeside experience.

Whether through fundraising or the volunteering services, the members of the Friends of the Hotel have one goal in mind: to refurbish this historic landmark. The summer schedule is filled with events that are sure to entertain and demonstrate their love of the "Lady on the Lake."

The Lakeside Women’s Club provides a glimpse of the past - a time when we appreciated the simple things and made our own fun. Step into another era with their cultural programs, special events, book reviews and sales, and their crown jewel of the season, the annual cottage tour.

The Lakeside Heritage Society has the responsibility of maintaining and storing the historical records of this turn-of-the-century community. Its archives are a a treasure trove of records of properties, houses, newspaper articles and writings. This group also operates the museum of our Chautauqua on Lake Erie. Artifacts, records, pictures and more fill the site of Heritage Hall Museum on the corner of Third and Maple. Also, a part their summer activities are the historic walking tours of Lakeside and Sunday afternoon lecture series in Orchestra Hall.

Standing as a forum for discussion and information, the Lakeside Property Owners Association has open membership for all property owners of Lakeside and Island View.

Lakeside is an experience like no other, and our organizations help to make an experience you will remember for a lifetime.
