Tennis

The Lakeside tennis facilities feature 10 tennis courts of three different surfaces. At the Williams Tennis Campus located on Sixth Street in South Lakeside, there are three fast drying HarTru courts, two natural clay courts and two hard courts. Three additional hard courts are located along the lakefront in Perry Park.

A number of major tennis events are hosted by the Lakeside Tennis Club during the Chautauqua summer season. The annual dates for the All-Lakeside Tennis Tournament, Family Doubles Tournaments and Breakfast at Wimbledon are posted in Lakeside's Calendar of Events. Additional information regarding the tennis summer schedule for court hours, adult mixers, children's free lessons and other tennis activities may be found in the weekly Lakesider newspaper.

The Lakeside Tennis Club was established in the 1940s. Since its inception, the goal of the club has been to assist the Tennis Staff in providing an exceptional tennis facility and programs for players of all ages to learn and play tennis. Membership in the Lakeside Tennis Club is open to all summer Lakeside residents and guests for an annual donation of $10/person or $25/family. Donations are used for special projects that supplement the Lakeside operating budget for tennis.
