Lakeside is excited to announce that the Hotel Lakeside Dining Room is now under the management of Chef Stacy Maple, former Director of United Way Ottawa County and Executive Director of Bistro 163 in Port Clinton. She earned her culinary arts degree from the prestigious, Le Cordon Bleu, and is excited about re-imagining the Hotel Lakeside Dining Room this summer.


Carryout & Delivery Service

The Hotel Lakeside Dining Room is offering carryout and delivery service starting Memorial Day weekend and will slowly transition to offer table side service at the hotel's outdoor courtyard and dining room in the coming weeks. The menu is inspired by the lake, and the dining experience is expected to be upscale but family-friendly.

  1. To place an order, call (419) 798-4461, ext. 257 and pay by credit card over the phone.
  2. If you choose to have your order delivered, food will be left at your doorstep.
  3. If you choose to pick up your order, you will be given a time to come to the Hotel Lakeside courtyard (behind the hotel). The hotel is located at 150 Maple Ave. We will bring out your order when it's ready.

It's the 145th season of the Hotel Lakeside Dining Room! In service since 1875, she has borne witness to two world wars, the Great Depression, multiple presidential assassinations, the Civil Rights Movement, 9/11 and now the COVID-19 pandemic. I am prouder than ever to be serving you and the Lakeside community during this historic time.

Over the coming weeks, we will slowly transition to indoor dining but are initially only opening with carryout and delivery service. We are working with the guidelines set out by the State of Ohio and guidance from the Ohio Restaurant Association to ensure that both our staff and guests are as safe as possible.

Service in the Hotel Lakeside Dining Room is going to look a little different from what you are accustomed to. Be patient while we make the needed adjustments to welcome you back inside our beautiful waterfront dining room again. Please review our carryout and delivery procedures and willingly follow the social distancing and sanitary guidelines that have been put in place to protect you and ensure all guests and employees have a safe dining experience.
