Returning for their second Lakeside performance after a crowd-pleasing debut in 2017, country a cappella group Home Free will bring their high energy show to Hoover Auditorium at 8:15 p.m. Saturday, July 28.

The all-vocal country sensation has made their name by performing Nashville standards and country-dipped pop hits to crowds all over the country.

This summer, the band is coming to Lakeside on the heels of their most recent full-length album release, TIMELESS, bringing with them new music, new jokes and an entirely new production.

When TIMELESS released in September 2017, it debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart. This release marks the fourth consecutive top 5 Billboard debut for their album.

Best known as Season 4 Champions of NBC’s “The Sing-Off” in 2013, Home Free, a Columbia Records recording artist, has been performing for almost a decade. Started in the early 2000s by brothers Chris and Adam Rupp, the group has performed at countless fairs, colleges and other venues around the country.

Since their “Sing Off” success, Home Free has gathered more than 100 million views on YouTube, sold 250,000 albums and performed for more than 150,000 fans in concert.

The five-member group has become known for its show-stopping performances that mix their signature no-strument, all-vocal music with their quick-witted humor and country charm.

While Home Free is a decidedly country vocal group, performing covers of classics like Johnny Cash’s “Ring of Fire” and John Denver’s “Thank God I’m a Country Boy,” they often bring their vocal talents to other genres performing covers ranging from *NYSNC’s “Bye, Bye, Bye” to “Wake Me Up” by Avicii. In addition to putting their own spin on hits like these, they also perform medleys of songs often blending multiple genres together in one recording.

This group is sure to entertain audiences of all ages with their fast-paced, high energy production covering songs from all genres and decades.
