Hoover Auditorium 90th Anniversary Exhibit

 Saturday, June 16, 2018 - Saturday, June 30
Hoover Auditorium Lobby

To celebrate 90 years of arts, entertainment and cultural education in Hoover Auditorium, there will be a multimedia exhibit on display from June 16-30, as well as several other celebratory events during Weeks 1 and 2 of the summer. Join us in sharing and celebrating your favorite memories in one of Lakeside's most cherished buildings.

Step back in time and relive the history of Hoover Auditorium with a visual timeline that showcases the construction of the historic building and the many educational, religious and artistic highlights over the years.

The exhibit will remember show-stopping entertainers, renowned authors, distinguished speakers and inspirational preachers that have all shared their gifts with Lakesiders over the years.

It will also acknowledge the rich history of the Lakeside Symphony Orchestra, the many art and photography shows that have graced the walls of the lobby, and the hundreds of thousands of church conference attendees who have gathered in Hoover.

Guests may view the exhibit a half-hour prior to all Sunday Hoover Community Worship Services and Hoover Auditorium evening performances, as well as Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3-5 p.m.
