Farmers' Market
Tuesday, August 4, 2020 8:30am-12:00pm Repeats greenspace near Lakeside Schoolhouse
Lakeside hosts a bi-weekly Farmers’ Market on Tuesdays and Fridays from June 23-Sept. 4. This year, the market has relocated to the greenspace around the Lakeside Schoolhouse to practice safe social distancing.
Lakeside has designated 8:30-9 a.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays as an early shopping time for those with health issues. The Farmers’ Market will open to all Lakesiders at 9 a.m.
Farmers sell fresh and organic produce, honey, herbs, spices, coffee beans, loose leaf packaged tea, maple syrup, seasonal fruit, homemade pies, jams, artisan breads, gluten-free baked goods, raw energy food, fresh cut flowers and homemade baked goods.
Items sold are grown or baked within a 70-mile radius; this provides the opportunity to purchase regionally-produced goods and contribute to the growth of the local economy.
Masks required. Please practice safe social distancing.
Admission & Parking
A complimentary Shopping/Dining Pass is available at the gates for Farmers’ Market shopping. This complimentary pass offers admission to the Lakeside grounds for 90 minutes. The pass must be validated by a Farmers’ Market vendor or a Lakeside Chautauqua Administration Office employee in order to exit Lakeside. Auto Pass not included. Ask a gate attendant for details.
