"Overnight - The Boy Band Tribute" hosted by Jeff Timmons of 98°

 Friday, July 5, 2019
8:15pm-10:15pm
Hoover Auditorium

“Overnight – The Boy Band Tribute” is nostalgic, sing-a-long fun to the biggest hits of your favorite boy bands, including the Backstreet Boys, 'NSYNC, NKOTB, 98°, Boys II Men, One Direction and many more. Full of surprises and fun moments, the show also covers artists of today.

Jeff Timmons of 98°, serving as the host and a featured artist, is the creative mind behind the production.

The four main artists, Erik Gomez, Kyle Davis, ILYA (Ilyass Hasnaoui known artistically as ILYA) and Jordan McIntosh, combine their talents to create a non-stop trip down memory lane of the genre’s greatest hits.

Gomez won the "Bellagio's Got Talent" singing competition for MGM Grand Resorts International and was later invited to perform with David Foster at one of his "David Foster & Friends" concerts. Since then, he's been performing at VIP casino events.

As a natural storyteller with a talent for singing, Davis knew from an early age that he was destined for a career in music. For his most recent project, he teamed up with Vessbroz, an electronic dance music-producing and DJ duo of brothers Armia and Arsham, for the album Lost.

ILYA was born in Morocco and is now a Boston-based artist. His multicultural upbringing permeates his sound with French, Arabic and English influences. A self-taught musician, his musical influences are Arctic Monkeys, Drake, Coldplay, Zayn and James Blunt.

The tribute band introduces McIntosh, a young musician hailing from the small Canadian town of Carleton Place, Ontario. This singer-songwriter has always dreamed big. With song-writing that's both universal and deeply personal, combined with powerful vocals, McIntosh is well on his way to achieving his music dreams.

Even if you weren’t desperately in love with a boy band heartthrob growing up, you’ll enjoy the music, humor and amazing choreography of this boy band tribute.
