Declared by Showtime as one of the five funniest people in America, Pat Hazell’s 25 years of experience as a writer, producer and director have made him a go-to guy for new American theater. As one of the original writers for “Seinfeld” and a veteran of the “Tonight Show,” his genuinely funny Americana humor delivers a dose of nostalgic comedy that audiences crave.

Hazell currently works as the Chief Creative Officer of Sweetwood Creative, a firm dedicated to creating original theatrical experiences, creative consulting and developing custom corporate events. There, he is responsible for the national tours of five original productions: Bunk Bed Brothers, Nashville Backstage, The Wonder Bread Years, My Funny Valentine and A Kodachrome Christmas.

Hazell is also currently collaborating on a musical adaptation of his original play Grounded For Life.
