The iconic sweaters may only make a brief appearance at each show, but signature harmonies of The Lettermen are non-stop, from their first hit “The Way You Look Tonight,” through “Put Your Head on My Shoulder” and “When I Fall in Love” to the current hits of today.

With more than 10,000 sold out shows, 10 Gold albums and scores of hit singles under their belt, The Lettermen appeal to generations of music lovers. They are constantly sending ‘audible valentines’ to their fans with each note of every song. The versatility and personal taste of each member shines through as they journey through a variety of musical styles.

The trio first hit the charts in 1961, followed by their second chart-topper “When I Fall in Love.” Original singers Tony Butala, Jim Pike and Bob Engemann became one of the top concert acts of the 1960s. Through the 1970s, 80s and 90s and now into the year 2019, The Letterman have continued to release albums and travel the world, performing hundreds of concerts each year. Some more of their hits include “All I Ask of You” and “Wind Beneath My Wings.” Recent albums include Best of Broadway and Live in the Phillippines.

The current lineup includes founding member Butala, as well as Donovan Tea since 1984 and Bobby Poynton since 1989.

Whether they are singing a capella or backed by an entire symphony, The Lettermen deliver their rock-solid harmonies in every arrangement. Their love ballads have an appeal that knows no boundaries and continues to withstand the test of time.
