“Aladdin” is a comical fantasy adventure film directed by Guy Ritchie and features stars Will Smith, Mena Massoud, and Naomi Scott.

The film is inspired by Walt Disney’s 1992 animated film of the same name. The story of Aladdin is originally found in an Arabic folktale and is part of the collection of One Thousand and One Nights.

Aladdin (Mesa Massoud) is a lovable boy from the streets who meets Princess Jasmine (Naomi Scott), the beautiful daughter of the sultan of Agrabah. Jasmine is no ordinary princess; she is a rebel and likes to dress as a peasant.

Aladdin stumbles upon a magic oil lamp that unleashes a powerful genie (Will Smith). Aladdin and the genie start to become friends, and the genie struggles with his wish to be free.

Aladdin aims to stop the evil sorcerer Jafar (Marwan Kenzari) from overthrowing young Jasmine's kingdom. (128 mins)
