The Lunch & Learn seminar series on Financial Planning is a two-day workshop designed to help people plan for the second half of their life.

The two-day experience takes place on 12-1:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8 and Friday, Aug. 9 over lunch in the Hotel Lakeside Fern Room. The series is planned so individuals can participate in one or both luncheons.

with The Rev. Dr. Clayton Smith & Gretchen Colon

The second seminar will be led by the Rev. Dr. Clayton Smith and Gretchen Colon on planning for the second half of life and generational giving.

The Rev. Dr. Smith is the author of At the Crossroads: Leadership Lessons for the Second Half of Life and is a retired Executive Pastor in Generosity at the Church of the Resurrection. Colon is the Senior Vice President of Advancement & Communications at Lakeside Chautauqua.

Topics include:

  • Generational Legacy: The Rev. Dr. Smith will share a kingdom perspective on material possessions. Learn why basic, successful estate planning and generational wealth is so important. God is a great giver. Discover how.
  • The Memorial Garden & Placement of Ashes Pre-Planning: Colon will share about the Memorial Garden at Chautauqua Park and placement of ashes pre-planning.
