Faith for Living Hour

 Thursday, July 2, 2020
9:00am-10:00am
Repeats
Chautauqua Hall & Virtual

Faith for Living Hour will be a hybrid experience, presented onsite in Chautauqua Hall (with safe social distancing and masks encouraged), as well as on Zoom, an online conferencing service.

The Rev. Magrey R. deVega’s theme for the week is “God’s Power to Heal a Broken World.”

In times of great uncertainty and polarizing divisions, we might find it hard to believe in God’s ability to bring healing, justice and peace to the world. God is not only at work, God calls each of us to be part of that work.

Faith for Living Hour this week explores different tools and resources to be conduits of peacemaking, empathy and non-anxious leadership: The Enneagram, Spiral Dynamics, Covenant Renewal and Leadership in Anxious Times.

  • Monday: “What’s Your Number? Using the Enneagram in Life & Work” download handout 1, download handout 2
  • Tuesday: “What’s Your Color? Spiral Dynamics as a Key to Understanding Our Differences” download handout
  • Wednesday: “Not My Own: Covenant Renewal for Strengthening Your Commitment to God”
  • Thursday: “Leading in Anxious Times”

A complimentary Faith for Living Hour Pass is available between 8:30-9 a.m. Monday-Thursday; valid until 1 p.m. This pass includes admittance to Lakeside for guests and auto. If the time allotted is exceeded, the guest(s) will be charged a fee upon departure. Ask a Gate Attendant for details.
