Evening Music: "HIGH FREQUENCY"

 Wednesday, August 5, 2020
7:30pm-9:00pm
Steele Memorial Bandstand

Although the beloved Lakeside Symphony Orchestra (LSO) season has been postponed until 2021, classical music will be heard from the Steele Memorial Bandstand this summer as we welcome several smaller ensembles.

The “HIGH FREQUENCY” Flute Quartet is a highly talented ensemble comprised of members of the Firelands Symphony Orchestra. Jesse Martin (principal oboe), Tamara Kagy (former principal flute), Jody Chaffee (flute/principal piccolo) and Elizabeth Studer (flute) have been performing together in various capacities for many years.

“HIGH FREQUENCY” was created by Kagy as a way to play with friends and explore the standard and virtuoso flute repertoire that is so rich in giving voice to the flute. The members of the quartet own and perform on all the voices of the flute (piccolo, C flute, alto, Eb flute, and bass).

Masks required. Please practice safe social distancing. While some seating is provided in Bettinger Park, guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets. In the case of inclement weather, this event will be cancelled
