Fire & Ice Fest

Join us as we celebrate winter on Lake Erie at our Fire & Ice Festival, February 5-7. From ice carving to fire pits, live music, crafts, creative foods, adventure walks, s’mores and more, there's something for everyone. Shop our downtown district, enjoy lunch or dinner at the Slack House Historic Cafe or Sloopy’s and stay to play. All activities are in downtown Lakeside on Walnut Avenue between Second and Third Street.

  • Storybook Trail (Bettinger Park) presented by The Fine Print. Walk through Bettinger Park and enjoy the storybook trail of "A Polar Bear in the Snow".
  • Build A Snowman (Lakeside Business District) Join a snowman scavenger hunt to find all the snowman parts and take home a prize from Marilyn’s Two (Available Fri - Sun 11 AM- 5 PM). Download the attached PDF for the clues or stop by our administration office located at 236 Walnut beginning Feb. 6 to pick up a printed copy.

  • Live music with singer-songwriter Beth Magers

Sunday, February 7 | 11 AM-7 PM Eat, Shop & Explore

Enjoy brunch at the Slack House from 11 AM - 2 PM, Sloopy's, and shopping at Miss Mercedes, Marilyn's Two, and Joseph Wise Clock Shop.

Fire Pits - Purchase a S’mores Kit or Roast-Your-Own Hot Dog Bundle from Slack House and warm up around our fire pits.

Adventure Walks (available all February)
