The Dove Award-winning Christian group, Point of Grace, will perform at 8:15 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3 in Hoover Auditorium.

Please note: this performance has been scheduled in place of Sandi Patty’s cancelled performance. Sandi Patty will be rebooked for the 2019 season.

The women of Point Of Grace have provided a soundtrack to our lives for over two decades. With faith-filled and passionate lyrics, their memorable melodies and soaring harmonies have inspired generations to live boldly and keep God’s love as the foundation of their lives.

After 22 years, 8 million recordings, 13 albums, 27 no. 1 hits, multiple Dove Awards, three Grammy nominations and multiple Platinum and Gold certifications, Point of Grace has been ranked as one of the Top 10 best-selling artists in the Contemporary Christian genre.

Shelley Breen, Denise Jones and Leigh Cappillino comprise the trio and have turned their musical mission into a lifelong search for home that has been captured in song, all while balancing their roles as mothers and wives.

The story of a few gifted college girls with a simple passion to unite and share their musical gifts for the Glory of God continues to evolve and engage thousands of fans, both old and new. Their unique ability to affect audiences with heartfelt song and story is stronger than ever.

Each new season of life seems to challenge the trio to reach even higher and dig deeper into their craft, as seen in the musical and lyrical depth of their more recent projects.

Their most recent album, Beautiful Name, is an incredible collection of treasured hymns and newer worship songs that will fill your heart and home with powerful praise. It includes songs such as “The Power of Love,” “Cornerstone” and “What a Beautiful Name.”

Point of Grace continues to live in search of an eternal home with anticipation, expectation and confidence after more than 20 years.
