What is Lakeside Chautauqua?

Lakeside Chautauqua is a nonprofit organization that engages individuals in a year-round Chautauqua experience dedicated to nurturing mind, body and spirit. Located halfway between Cleveland and Toledo, it is an historic Chautauqua community that offers spiritual opportunities, educational lectures, cultural arts programming and recreational pursuits for guests of all ages. With daily concerts, special events, educational seminars, recreational opportunities, cottages, hotels, shops, restaurants and an historic movie theater, Lakeside Chautauqua remains a summer retreat for generations of families.

Available Full-Time Positions

Conference & Event Planning Coordinator

Assists the Conference & Event Planning Manager in the coordination of all events that take place in Lakeside from start to finish. Events include youth camps, family reunions, weddings, anniversaries, private parties, conferences, business meetings, retreats and many internal events. Serve as liaison with groups to ensure high-quality service, facility cleanliness and accommodations needs.

Programming Administrative Assistant/Project Coordinator

Assist in the coordination of all programming activities, including religion, education, arts and recreation. Coordinate and implement special events (Collector Car Show, Art Show, Christian Music Festival, Lighthouse Festival and others). Assist with general operations of Orchestra Hall. Process payments, contracts, passes and reports for Programming Department.
