Lakeside Fund Ambassador

The Lakeside Chautauqua Foundation invites you to consider volunteering your time to raise financial gifts towards the Lakeside Annual Fund as a Lakeside Fund Ambassador. The Lakeside Annual Fund supports the Chautauqua program each year. Ambassadors work with Lakeside staff on ways to volunteer time, such as  making visits, completing phone calls and sending personal emails or letters to other Lakesiders and share what the community means to them. Rhein Center

The Rhein Center is always in need of volunteers.We've expanded our hours and would love to have you join us and assist with student check-in throughout the week. Volunteers are also needed to assist with online registration at Sunday Open Houses throughout the summer, take photos of classes throughout the week, assist with family activities, and more. Hoover Performance Greeter

Volunteers greet and count Lakesiders attending the evening Hoover performances Monday-Saturday. If you wish to volunteer from 7:30-9 p.m. during the summer, return a Volunteer Application to communications@lakesideohio.com.


Hoover Worship Sunday Usher

Volunteer your time at the 10:30 a.m. Hoover Community Worship Services on Sunday. This important ministry involves distributing bulletins, directing congregants to their seats and passing the offering plates during worship. Gardener

There are more than 30 beautiful gardens to care for within the gates of Lakeside. Volunteers are needed to assist with watering and weeding. To donate your time, return a Volunteer Application to communications@lakesideohio.com.

Spring Cleanup Day

Volunteer your time to help beautify Lakeside at Spring Cleanup Day in April. Each year, more than 75 volunteers help to improve the overall appearance of the Lakeside grounds and facilities. For more information, return a Volunteer Application to communications@lakesideohio.com.

Lakeside Plant Sale

The Lakeside Plant Sale, which takes place in May, features a variety of annuals, perennials, herbs and ground covers for sale. Volunteers are needed to manage transactions and assist with loading. To donate your time, return a Volunteer Application to communications@lakesideohio.com.

Lakeside-Marblehead Lighthouse Festival

Volunteers are needed at the Lakeside-Marblehead Lighthouse Festival. This annual event takes place the second Saturday in October. Volunteers are needed for set-up, children's crafts, shuttle service, information booths, pumpkin-decorating contest and cleanup. "A Lakeside Christmas" & Community Christmas Dinner

In December, Lakesiders return to the grounds to gather for "A Lakeside Christmas" and the Community Christmas Dinner. Volunteers are needed to assist with set up, children’s crafts, childcare, story time and Christmas Dinner decorating, greeting and cleanup. Team & Individual Triathlons
