Lighthouse Festival a Success
Posted on October 23, 2015
The 20th Annual Lakeside-Marblehead Lighthouse Festival welcomed many Lakesiders back to the Marblehead Peninsula on October 10. The crisp, fall weather and all-day sunshine also set the stage for a wonderful event.
The festival offered tours of the Marblehead Lighthouse, live entertainment on the steps of Hoover Auditorium, children’s crafts, a Pumpkin-Decorating Contest, more than 100 arts & crafts vendors, a farmers’ market, hayrides, shuffleboard, miniature golf and much more.
Lakeside Chautauqua and the Marblehead Peninsula Chamber of Commerce would like to thank the more than 20 volunteers that donated their time to help make this community-wide event a success. Our dedicated volunteers continue to make this annual festival possible each fall.
The 4th Annual Pumpkin-Decorating Contest welcomed 42 participants. The contest featured a variety of carved, painted and decorated pumpkins. Congratulations to the following winners.
