Vacation Bible School “Passport to Peru: Discovering God’s Good Gifts”
Posted on July 12, 2017

The Lakeside United Methodist Church (UMC) is offering Vacation Bible School (VBS) to children (age 5+) from 6-8 p.m. July 31-Aug. 4.
VBS is open to children in Lakeside, as well as those in the Marblehead Peninsula and Port Clinton areas, and members and friends of the Lakeside UMC.
The VBS theme for this year is "Passport to Peru: Discovering God’s Good Gifts.”
Each day, children will experience a one-of-a-kind Bible story and participate in hands-on activities that reinforce the Bible. To close the week, family members and friends are invited to the Lakeside UMC sanctuary at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 4 for a “Celebration Finale.”
Registration forms are available at the Lakeside UMC office. Guests may also contact (419) 798-8119 or vbs_info@lakesideohumc.com for more information. Participation is limited, so early registration is suggested.
Complimentary passes for VBS will be available at the Fifth Street Gate, South Gate and East Second Street Gate. Passes include admittance for children, adults and an Auto Pass, valid each day of VBS from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Passes do not include admission to the Hoover Auditorium shows or Grindley Aquatic & Wellness Campus.
Gate attendants will assist with directions to the Lakeside UMC and parking, as well as provide information about Lakeside activities for adults who choose to stay on the grounds while children participate in VBS.
