There are a variety of worship celebrations every Sunday during the summer. Some are more casual than others, but all offer a wonderful spiritual experience to all who participate.

Giving During Worship

At Lakeside, we work together to help one another experience the summer with days of rest and family renewal. God reminds us that, as stewards, we share our prayers, presence, gifts, service and witness to our communities at home or in Lakeside.

Your giving will strengthen the vision and outreach of the Lakeside community, both materially and spiritually. Generous financial gifts offered to Lakeside by check should be made payable to the: Lakeside Chautauqua Foundation, 236 Walnut Ave., Lakeside, Ohio 43440. Note any specific designation for the gift on the memo line (i.e. Religious Life, Endowment, Youth, etc.)

Altar Flowers

On Saturday evenings, the Lakeside staff turns the concert stage of Hoover Auditorium into a place of worship for Sunday morning. An enhancement that adds to the Community Worship Services are the fresh flowers, lovingly provided by members of the Lakeside community. Up to two arrangements of flowers can be placed on the altar for $75 each. These can be dedicated in memory or in honor of loved ones. Contact the Rev. Dr. Charlie Yoost, Director of Religious Life & Church Outreach, at if you’re interested in purchasing flowers for the altar.
